Sharing Ad-free Technology Support

Questions & Answers

How do I share a timer?

Simply copy and paste the webpage address after you’ve configured your timer.

The advantage of FullCountdown.com is that your timer configuration is stored in URL parameters. When you share or save the link, all your chosen settings are preserved.

Why is it free and ad-free?

FullCountdown is a purely personal project. It does not include intrusive ads because I don’t want the experience to be negative like on other timer pages I’ve visited.

Additionally, while there are no ads, there is a small support section so you can back the project.

Will it include ads in the future?

In principle, no — at least not intrusive ads. I plan to include occasional banners to my print shops in content pages, but not in the timer itself.

The main timer tool will remain clean, usable, and free from ad distractions.

What technologies does it use?

It’s simple JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. I’m not a programmer — I have basic JavaScript knowledge and intermediate/advanced HTML and CSS skills.

For now, since it’s a proof of concept, I used the basics; if the concept works, I will scale it to more powerful technologies with better performance.

How can I support the project?

You can visit my print shops via the support dialog — you’ll likely find something you like or a gift for family and friends.

They feature illustrated products: anime, fantasy, and floral designs.

Remote control — how it works and how to use it

The mini remote control opens in a small separate window and lets you control the main countdown locally on the same device. Share your primary screen for audiences and keep the remote window handy to manage the timer.

To open it, click the Mini control button. The remote window synchronizes with the main timer instantly and works 100% locally — no servers required once the page is loaded.

Use the remote to start, pause, reset, apply time, and toggle features like progress bar or mirror mode. The remote reflects the current state and time so you can operate confidently without leaving your presentation view.

Have a question or suggestion?

If you’d like me to add a feature or have an improvement suggestion, I’d be happy to consider it. FullCountdown is a growing, continually improving project!
